Robertson County youth submitted 112 entries for the 2020 4-H Virtual Fair.  Sonny Neal, Lily Weaver, and Allen Jones were the winners of the “most entries submitted” award in their respective age groups. A crackdown on human trafficking has resulted in the arrest of a Livingston man.  In May, Agents began investigating a tip to the Tennessee Human Trafficking Hotline. It was from management at a hotel in Springfield who reported suspicious activity that appeared consistent with mandatory human trafficking training employees had received.  45-year-old Timothy C. The Tennessee Department of Health reported one-thousand-992 new cases yesterday, bringing the total since the outbreak began to over 209-thousand.  Over 60 additional COVID-19-related deaths were also reported.  There have been more than 27-hundred deaths attributed to the coronavirus in Tennessee since the outbreak began.  Robertson County has had 2,342 cases since the start of the outbreak, 2,199 have recovered and 39 have died from COVID-19 in Robertson County. A country musician who wrote a chart-topping song is dead.  Ray Pennington died yesterday in a fire at his Sumner County home.  Pennington wrote "I'm A Ramblin' Man," which was a hit for Waylon Jennings.  Pennington was 86. A 2-year-old girl is in Vanderbilt Hospital after she was hit by a car Tuesday Beechwood Dr in Springfield. Witnesses say the child was awake and talking after the accident and her injuries don’t appear to be life threatening. Springfield police are investigating.
