The long-awaited second phase of work on Interstate 65 between Nashville and the Kentucky state line is set to begin this year. Improvements for Interstate 65, from Nashville to the Kentucky state line, include widening for approximately 25.8 miles in Davidson, Robertson, and Sumner Counties. There were two back-to-back rollover crashes on I-65 in Robertson County Sunday morning. The first crash called in just after 8 am at mile marker 114 was a rollover crash with the vehicle leaking a lot of fuel. A 37-year-old man was injured but in stable condition. A 15-month-old found inside a Portland home back in February died from starvation and hypertonic dehydration. The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Tiffany Spears, and her 15-month-old infant son Nicholas Crowder were both found dead February 9th. A 3-year-old was also found at the home and was treated at a local hospital. The results of the autopsies revealed that the cause of death for Nicholas Crowder was starvation and […]
