Authorities in Clarksville say a pedestrian is seriously injured after a crash on Wilma Rudolph Boulevard yesterday.  The accident happened near a Shoney’s Restaurant around 3:30 p.m. The injured individual was life-flighted from the scene.  Officials have not yet provided an update on that person’s condition

The deadline to register to vote in Tennessee is now less than a week away.  Tennesseans have until Tuesday to register to participate in the General Election on November 8th.  Voters in November will have the chance to elect federal and state lawmakers as well as voice their opinion on key issues.  One issue on the ballot in Tennessee is an amendment to the state Constitution which still says slavery is allowed as a form of criminal punishment.  More information on how to vote can be found at vote-dot-gov. 

A reward of up to 21-thousand dollars is being offered for information in connection with a Murfreesboro woman’s murder.  Mya [[ MY-ah ]] Fuller’s body was discovered in Wilson County in August after going missing from a Nashville nightclub a week before.  She was last seen at a club on Antioch Pike called Island Vibes on July 30th.  Anyone with information is urged to come forward.

Officials at Kirkwood Middle School in Clarksville say a threat Wednesday was unfounded. The school says there was a rumored threat of violence being circulated on social media and it was being investigated.  The school operates under a zero-tolerance policy where any credible threat made results in expulsion of a student.

Middle Tennessee farmers are expecting fewer live Christmas trees to be available this holiday season.  They say the summer’s hot, dry weather took a toll on young evergreens in the region.  Suppliers are also anticipating higher prices, about ten percent over last year.  Market experts are encouraging those who want a live, pre-cut Christmas tree to get it before Thanksgiving.
