More than a week after University of Missouri student Riley Strain disappeared. At the same time, on a fraternity trip in Nashville, his bank card was discovered on an embankment by the Cumberland River. police said his card was found on Sunday afternoon on the barrier between Gay Street and the Cumberland River. Anna Clemdening and Brandy Baenen had been searching since early Sunday morning. Clemdening heard about the search from Baenen’s popular TikTok and realized she lived nearby. Police have not said what the bank card means for their search. In the meantime, Clemdening and Baenen will continue theirs. Strain’s family confirmed that the card does belong to Strain.

Two people are dead following a Sunday morning crash that involved a motorcycle and a vehicle at the intersection of Madison Street and Richview Road In Clarksville. Police say the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Several hours later, police announced the passenger in the front seat of the vehicle hit by the motorcycle died because of his injuries. The victims’ names will not be released until officials notify their next of kin. No additional details have been released.

Two cities in Middle Tennessee have gained some major bragging rights after being named as southern cities that are on the rise in 2024. Two places where the growth is occurring are right here in Middle Tennessee. According to Southern Living magazine, Franklin and Clarksville are southern cities on the rise in 2024. The magazine gathered a long list of cities to compile the ranking based on research, reporting, and experiences. Clarksville and Franklin were the only two cities in Tennessee to make the list, with Franklin coming in second and Clarksville ranked 18th.

At least seven people were injured in a robbery attempt at a Donelson apartment complex on Friday. , the Metro Nashville Police Department said. Police said three juveniles approached a group of people behind Building M of The Highland on Briley apartments on Elm Hill Pike just before 9 p.m. Police said the kids were armed with handguns and one long gun. They allegedly fired around 20 shots, hitting at least two people. At least three people were also pistol-whipped. They fled the scene on foot.
