As the search for missing University of Missouri student Riley Strain continues, family and friends are now asking for Uber and Lyft to get involved. They are hoping dash camera video will help reveal a better timeline. Three surveillance video clips have been shared countless times. It’s the last time Riley Strain was seen walking from downtown Nashville after he was reportedly kicked out of Luke Bryan’s bar on Friday.

A Gallatin woman has been arrested in connection with a deadly January 2023 shooting in Madison. 27-year-old Stefanie Hernandez was arrested for the death of 48-year-old Timothy Fetter. She was taken into custody at a Nashville home improvement store where she worked. Police found Fetter at the Crime Scene suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Reports say someone in a light-colored sedan fired several shots at him and Hernandez was present when he was shot. Police expect one more arrest in this case and think road rage was a likely motive.

The City of Springfield approved a contract last month with Safe Haven Baby Boxes to install the first box in Robertson County. The heated and locked boxes that are installed in a local fire station, allow any baby that is abandoned by a mother to be dropped off and kept warm until it is taken care of by a foster or adopted family. A box will soon be added to the Springfield Fire Department’s Station 2, located on the corner of Bill Jones Industrial Drive and Bradley Drive.

The Rivergate Mall in Goodlettsville is now up for sale. The mall was built in 1971, and the building size is more than 500,000 square feet sitting on almost 30 acres of land. Goodlettsville City Manager Tim Ellis said the city is excited about the opportunities that a sale could bring saying the area is certainly a viable location for the next generation of redevelopment.
