Authorities in Clarksville say the body of a missing swimmer is now recovered.  Rescue workers responded to Billy Dunlop Park Saturday afternoon on reports of a man in his early 20’s going missing in the Red River.  Divers called off the search Saturday night, but found the remains when the operation resumed yesterday morning.  Clarksville police say they are working to notify the man’s family members before his identity is released.

Target stores are offering a trade-in deal on used car safety seats.  Guests can get a coupon for 20 percent off a new car seat by turning in an old one at participating locations.  The event runs through the 24th, with coupons good for up to two in-store or online purchases until October eighth.  The company says they’ve recycled nearly one-and-a-half-million car seats since launching the trade-in program in 2016.

On Saturday, Sept. 24 at 10 am, the public is invited to a free showing of the documentary film “The Unknowns” at White House General Baptist Church.  The film explores the training cycle of the U.S. Army’s most elite ceremonial unit at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.  Guests that attend the screening can watch as these soldiers are exposed to the rich history and honorable traditions of the Brotherhood of Sentinels who guard the Tomb, while learning what it means to protect one of the country’s most hallowed grounds.
