A Christian music festival is underway for its second year at the formerly Johnny Cash-owned Hideaway Farm near Bon Aqua.  Lifest runs through Saturday night.  Thousands of fans are expected to see headliners Skillet, Casting Crowns, Steven Curtis Chapman and dozens more.  More information is available at lifest-dot-com.

Tennessee first responders are in eastern Kentucky to assist in flood rescue efforts.  Three Tennessee Helicopter Aquatic Rescue crews, including some Nashville Fire Department personnel, are in the Bluegrass State, where Governor Andy Beshear has declared a state of emergency.  Kentucky authorities have reported eight people dead, with an unknown number of individuals unaccounted for.  Some members of the Tennessee National Guard have also been mobilized to the area.

Portland police are searching for the man responsible for hiding a camera in a public bathroom.  Investigators say an employee at a local business found the device.  Chief Jason Williams says the camera seems to have only captured images of the suspect who hid it.  Williams is encouraging patrons and business owners to keep an eye out for cameras inside restrooms, in case the suspect hid devices at other establishments.

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation is awarding a grant to a Lebanon tire recycler.  Rockwood Sustainable Solutions in Lebanin is getting seven-hundred-50-thousand dollars to boost capacity in their operation reusing old tires.  The grant money comes from the Tire Environmental Fund, where tax dollars are set aside with every new car purchase in the state.
