The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating two telephone threats made downtown, one a bomb threat and another for an active shooter. A section of Broadway and the area around the AT&T building were blocked off as police investigated the two threats. Per police, the first call made just after 8:30 was made to Hard Rock involving a bomb threat. The second call placed was for an active shooter threat at the AT&T building just over an hour later. Police say the AT&T call was an unfounded telephone threat. The Hard Rock threat was also via telephone and police are investigating as a precaution.
