A man wanted for kidnapping and murder out of Ohio is now behind bars in Wilson County.  Cincinnati, Ohio, police responded to a shots fired call. Investigators at the scene said they found 36-year-old Kaitlyn Lynch shot    and the prime suspect, 32-year-old Lance Miller, leaving the crime scene in the victim’s car with her in it.  The next morning, the victim’s car was spotted in Wilson County and was chased into Cheatham County. Cheatham County deputies ultimately spiked the car on I-40 near mile marker 186. Miller was taken into custody and booked into the Wilson County Jail, while the victim was found in the vehicle’s front seat — dead.

Authorities in Mt. Juliet spent Sunday afternoon searching for a man wanted for assault. Police identified the suspect as 38-year-old Cassius Allen of Nashville.  Officers said Allen could be in the Park Glen, Tuscan Gardens, Woodland Place, Willow Creek, and Stone Hollow areas.  Then, at 2:32 p.m., police announced Allen had been taken into custody after he exited the creek behind Lawnview Point.  Officers launched the search for Allen after allegedly fled from a domestic assault at the Willow Creek Apartments. No additional information has been released about the incident.

The Winchester Police Department is asking for your help.  They are trying to identify a suspect in the armed robbery of Kevin’s Market, located on David Crockett Highway.  The suspect appeared to be a Black man wearing a mask, black hooded sweatshirt with a skull from the movie “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” gray jogging pants and black Air Force 1 shoes.  Surveillance footage appears to show the man holding a firearm. After reportedly robbing the store, police said the suspect ran several businesses down and got into what appeared to be a mid-size red SUV.

Nolensville Little League baseball had their first loss in the 2023 World Series tournament yesterday.  The team representing the Southeast region lost to the Northwest region’s Seattle, 6-2.   This is the team’s third consecutive year Nolensville has made it to the series under coach Randy Huth.  The World Series is a double elimination tournament, meaning Nolensville must continue winning or they are out for the season. The team now will prepare for their next game this afternoon against Mountain Region winner Nevada.
