Netflix is backpedaling on its recently released password sharing rules.  Earlier this week the streaming service announced each Netflix account “is for people who live together in a single household.”  Under the new policy, subscribers would no longer be allowed to share passwords, and all user devices must be reconnected to their home wifi once every 31 days to have “uninterrupted access” to Netflix.  The news resulted in massive backlash from the public.  Now, Netflix says those rules were posted in error, and were only applicable to subscribers in Chile, Costa Rica and Peru.
