Robertson County officials say a teen girl is in critical condition after falling into a dam in Springfield yesterday afternoon.  EMS Director Brent Dyer says the 17-year-old girl slipped and fell into the water while trying to reach a soccer ball, then was pulled under by the water running over the dam.  Her 16-year-old friend jumped in to try and save her, but was unable to pull her up on her own.  Byer says individuals who were walking a dog in the area and a passing motorist stopped to help and got the girls to the bank as medics arrived.  The 17-year-old was flown to Centennial Children’s Hospital.
