The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information about a vehicle burglary in the parking lot of the Ridgetop Station Park on Woodruff Avenue in Ridgetop on March 18th. The suspects allegedly took the victim’s wallet and made several purchases using the victims’ bank cards in the Rivergate area.  There are security photos of the suspects on various social media sites. Call the police if you think you recognize them.

The Tennessee Department of Health reported 732 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total since the outbreak began to 801-thousand-645.  No COVID-19-related deaths have been reported since Sunday, with the total number of coronavirus-attributed deaths statewide standing at   eleven-thousand-713.  There are over 750 COVID-19 patients hospitalized statewide. In Robertson County there have been 9,183 cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. 8,933 have recovered, and 124 have died form COVID-19 since the pandemic began.

Governor Bill Lee is thanking supporters of the proposed constitutional carry bill.  During a video call with members of the National Rifle Association last evening, Governor Lee thanks them for helping his administration move the bill forward during this year’s session of the Tennessee General Assembly.  The bill would remove the state’s permit requirement to carry a handgun.  It’s expected to receive final approval in the House next week.

A project in Goodlettsville is expected to save the city tens of thousands of dollars.  Goodlettsville is changing out its street lights for LED lights.  The project is more than 80-percent complete.  The move is expected to save nearly 100-thousand dollars annually. 

American Legion Post 45 in Greenbrier, TN will be hosting its first annual Spring Turkey Shoot for all 4 Saturdays in April. They start at 8:00 and last until Noon, at American Legion Post 45 on US-41.
