An SUV crashed into a Springfield home at Woodland St and 18th Ave early Tuesday morning. No one was injured but the crash caused heavy damage to the home. City leaders in Springfield have approved a $535,000 Local Parks and Recreation Fund Grant for upgrades at Martin Luther King Jr. Park. The upgrades will include a large playground area that will use a board-in-place rubber material for the playground base.
