A national blood shortage is impacting Tennessee.  The American Red Cross says the state is short 27-hundred pints of blood.  The shortage has been brought on by fewer people donating since the coronavirus outbreak started and the rescheduling of elective surgeries that were put off over COVID-19 concerns.  Some hospitals say they're trying to combat the shortage by having more blood drives among their employees.
