A Middle Tennessee high school assistant principal and athletic director is being charged with statutory rape.  Garry Chadwell works at Kenwood High in the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System.  The 49-year-old was arrested on Tuesday by Clarksville police for the alleged crime, which happened in January.  Chadwell is charged with rape and aggravated statutory rape of a male between 13-to-18-years-old. The State of Tennessee will be seeking the death penalty in the case of James Conn.  He is the suspect accused of the murder of Robertson County Sheriff’s Deputy Savanna Puckett in January.
