The number of positive COVID cases in Robertson County has skyrocketed for the third straight month. The Tennessee Department of Health says the period from Sept. 3 to 16 averaged 82 new cases per day. That is up from 69.9 cases per day from Aug. 20 through Sept. 2, which was also an increase compared to the 38.8 average cases between August 4-17. But while the number of infections is going up hospitalizations have remained steady during that time. (Source Robertson Connection)

The White House Police Department is one of several in the state  promoting the #9PMRoutine.  It’s a nightly reminder to residents to remove valuables from their vehicles, lock their vehicle doors, lock the doors to their residences, turn on exterior lights and activate all alarms and security systems. The department will send out a nightly reminder on social media channels around 9 p.m. to run the routine. They ask residents to set a nightly reminder on their smartphones or other devices to help them remember.
