A 15-month-old found inside a Portland home back in February died from starvation and hypertonic dehydration.  The Sumner County Sheriff’s Office says 32-year-old Tiffany Spears, and her 15-month-old infant son Nicholas Crowder were both found dead February 9th.  A 3-year-old was also found at the home and was treated at a local hospital. The results of the autopsies revealed that the cause of death for Nicholas Crowder was starvation and hypertonic dehydration.  Spears’ cause of death was ruled as a drug overdose due to a combination of fentanyl and methamphetamine. Both deaths were ruled accidental.

The new Electrolux warehouse in Springfield is open.  A ribbon cutting ceremony for the 525-square-foot warehouse was held yesterday.  Electrolux says the facility includes a lounge for truck drivers and a new dog run for travel companions.  The warehouse is part of the appliance manufacturer’s 250-million-dollar expansion of the campus.

 The world’s largest Protestant denomination is holding its annual meeting starting today.  More than 17-thousand Southern Baptists are expected to attend the two-day meeting at the Music City Center in Nashville.  President and CEO of the SBC Executive Committee Ronnie Floyd says the meeting is a time for Southern Baptists to come together and celebrate how God is moving through their convention and churches.  The SBC is based in Nashville.

The price of home insurance is rising in Nashville.  The Greater Nashville Realtors group says supply chain issues and increasing demand for homes are driving up the prices of building materials.  The group says insurance costs are up 25 percent as insurance companies adjust their prices to match the cost of building a home.

Authorities are looking into reports of a man exposing himself at a community pool in Mt. Juliet.  The man allegedly drove by, jumped out, and exposed himself to people at the pool before jumping into the gray or silver four-door sedan and leaving.  Detectives are now reviewing area surveillance footage.
