Three people were reportedly injured in a crash involving a horse and buggy in Trigg County Saturday night. Deputies with the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office say a car driven by an 18-year-old was traveling southbound when it collided with a horse and buggy. The 61-year-old driver of the horse and buggy and his passenger were both taken to a local hospital via ambulance to be treated for their injuries. Meanwhile, the 18-year-old driver was flown to a Nashville hospital to be treated. There is no word on the nature of the injuries sustained by those involved in the crash and no additional details were released about the incident.

A man is arrested for multiple car burglaries at a Lebanon childcare. Three cars are burglarized at Little Lambs Childcare, on McGregor Street, on Friday. Lebanon police said they identified 56-year-old James Muncie as the Prime Suspect in the incident. Muncie allegedly confessed to police when they arrested him. He is being held on a $15,500 bond for three counts each of burglary, theft, and vandalism.

The Halifax Fire Department in Allen County, Kentucky was called to a tractor on fire in a field in the 1800 block of Halifax Bailey Road late Saturday afternoon. When crews got to the fire, they determined that a hay roller and a large area of field were also involved, according to the Halifax Fire Department. No word yet on how the fire started.

The conviction for a Sumner County woman found guilty of killing her newborn twins has been restored by the Court of Criminal Appeals. Lindsay Lowe was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated child abuse for killing her infant sons shortly after their birth at her parents’ home. She concealed their bodies in a laundry basket. Nearly two years ago, Lowe was granted a new trial after her attorneys argued she didn’t get a fair trial due to juror bias. A judge agreed, however, Lowe’s conviction was later vacated, and she was set free. On Friday, Lowe was rearrested and booked in the Sumner County Jail.
