Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible tomorrow afternoon and evening.  The National Weather Service in Nashville says the main threats are damaging wind gusts, however, an isolated tornado can’t be ruled out.  Gusts of up to 50-miles-per-hour are possible tomorrow.  The National Weather Service is encouraging Middle Tennesseans to be weather aware.

Greenbrier High School senior Abigayle Clontz received a full scholarship from the United States Navy. She will study for a bachelor’s degree in nursing at Jacksonville State University in Jacksonville, Ala.  The presentation of her $200,000 scholarship was in the GHS library and came as a complete surprise to Clontz. Commander Lauren Majchrzak, Commander of the Navy Talent Acquisition Group in Nashville presented the check to Clontz in the presence of her parents, school officials, and other Navy personnel.

Robertson County Schools is hosting an educational career fair on April 8 from Noon to 4:00. Principals and supervisors will be available for questions and interviews.  While it is encouraged to attend the career fair to have a broader sense of areas you may be suited to serve in, there is still possible to apply online as well.

Robertson County Schools Supervisor of Secondary Education, Dr. Bob Pruitt has been endorsed for school superintendency by the Tennessee School Boards Association.  In December, Pruitt completed 98 hours of intensive instruction at the Superintendent’s Academy.  Administrated by the School Board Association, The Academy provides training and orientation for educators seeking to add to their portfolio of leadership credentials.

The Robertson County Players’ production of 12 Angry Jurors will continue its run at 7 p.m. this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Springfield Middle School’s Historic Auditorium.  The story was initially broadcast as a television play in 1954 under the title 12 Angry Men and was later adapted for stage.  For more information about the production, go to robertsoncountyplayers.org.

Pre-k students can now apply for the 2022-2023 school year.  Register your child online at rcstn.net and click on the button in the blue ribbon.  If you want to register in prsonyou can do so at Bransford Elementary Thursday, April 14th or Wednesday, April 20th from 5:00 – 7:00pm  both days.
