It’s getting better, but it’s not over: There are 95 new coronavirus cases in Tennessee.  The Tennessee Department of Health reported the new cases yesterday, bringing the total since the outbreak began to more thab 866-thousand.  An additional ten COVID-19-related deaths were also reported, with the total number of coronavirus-attributed deaths standing at 12-thousand-530.  There are over 230 people with COID-19 hospitalized in Tennessee. In Robertson County, aince the pandemicce began, here have 9, 953 confirmed cass, 140 deaths, and 456 hospitalization. The county has 111 active cases as of yesterday.

First Lady Jill Biden’s visit to a pop-up coronavirus vaccination clinic is being characterized by low turnout.  It’s estimated that only a few-dozen people showed up at the Ole Smoky Distillery south of Lower Broadway yesterday to get a COVID-19 vaccine.  Biden made stops in Mississippi and Nashville yesterday to help with President Biden’s push to get more people vaccinated.  Just 41 percent of Tennesseans have received at least one dose of the vaccine.

The Clarksville Police Department is asking for help finding a missing man.  CPD says 47-year-old Thomas Ivy hasn’t been heard from since May 1st.  Ivy is described as white, five-foot-nine, 165 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

A Hendersonville area woman is facing charges after shooting a gun at a neighbor’s home on Monday afternoon.  Police say 33-year-old Stacy Scott was arrested after shooting a gun several times at a house on Woodyside Drive.  Officials say Scott was in a dispute with someone at the residence.  Scott was charged with two counts of reckless endangerment and is scheduled to appear in court on July 28th.
