There is a good chance that Robertson Countians who had a baby girl this year, named her Olivia.  Because Stacker reports Olivia was the most popular girl’s name in Tennessee in 2020.  Of the just over 400 girls born in Tennessee last year, nearly three percent were named Olivia.  Ava, Amelia, Emma, and Harper round out the top five.

Say hello to all of our visitors from the Sunshine state.  Florida is sending more people to Tennessee than other states.  More than 21-thousand-500 people moved to Tennessee from Florida in 2019.  Texans account for the second biggest group followed by North Carolina, Georgia, and Mississippi.

A man from Colorado is under arrest in Mt. Juliet Police say the city’s license plate readers alerted Mt. Juliet authorities to a vehicle driving on Providence Parkway that had been stolen from Colorado on December 16th.  Police say they arrested the driver for a warrant of first-degree burglary in Colorado.  

Officials say they are investigating a car accident involving a pedestrian in Clarksville.  Police said the incident happened last night around 8:30 p.m. on Trenton Road between Needmore Road and 101st Airborne Division Parkway.  Police confirmed that a female victim was life-flighted to the hospital in unknown condition.  Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.

Grocery delivery and pick-up service Instacart is releasing its annual Year in Groceries report with the most ordered items.  Instacart examined grocery shopping orders from January to November this past year to compile its list of the top products from each zip code.  Groceries ordered the most by area shoppers included lemon basil, protein bars, curly kale, hard seltzers, prosecco, cookies and cream ice cream, and enough bananas to stack as high as almost five-thousand Ryman Auditoriums.  A complete list of every zip code’s top picks can be found at Instacart.com..
