Local News Two men have been arrested in connection with a motorcycle hit-and-run that left a runner severely injured at the Bell Buckle MoonPie Festival.  The Bedford County Sheriff’s Office said 30-year-old Michael Lee Grimmett of Christiana and 31-year-old James Nicholas Barrett of Cannon County face numerous charges in the incident.  The victim is at Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital. Local News The Austin Peay State University Board of Trustees has voted to adopt a combined 3% increase in undergraduate tuition and mandatory fees beginning in the Fall 2023 semester.  The Trustees say revenue derived from the increase will partly offset the effective economic inflation rate of 10.5% since the last tuition increase in June 2021.
