A plane crashed in the southwest portion of Williamson County on Wednesday. The small plane went down around 12 p.m near Bending Chestnut Road in Leipers Fork, which is south of Interstate 840 near Natchez Trace Parkway. All three people on board the plane died. A teen was arrested Tuesday afternoon in connection with a deadly shooting in Madison. Metro police said 19-year-old Jaylin Sanford was arrested for the shooting that left 19-year-old Kenneth Buford Jr. dead in a field. Based on their investigation, authorities believe Buford and Sanford knew each other. An injured motorist was flown to Nashville Sunday night after being thrown from a vehicle during a crash in Clarksville. Clarksville Police say the two-vehicle wreck took place at approximately 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, May 12 on 101st Airborne Division Parkway, just before Whitfield Road.
