A Robertson County woman was found guilty of multiple charges, including first-degree murder and aggravated child abuse. The charges stem from a 2023 homicide involving a 5-year-old Cheatham County boy. On July 23, 2023, Turner Simpkins was found dead in his Chapmansboro home. A Gallatin woman has been charged in connection with an explosion at her home earlier this summer. The explosion happened at a duplex off Chaffin Court near Airport Road on Friday, June 14th. The TBI says 48-year-old Jessica Stadelbauer was found responsible for the explosion that rocked the Gallatin neighborhood.
