The Clarksville Police Department has released the identity of the body that was found off Kennedy Rd earlier this week. The remains are those of 20-year-old Justin Sawyer who disappeared December 17th.  No cause of death has been released but police say it’s an active investigation. A Springfield man is caught in a child sex sting. 59-year-old Malcolm Wilkerson was suspended from his job with the Robertson County Schools Building and Grounds Department after the arrest. Undercover agents say Wilkerson was soliciting sex with minors online. If convicted, Wilkerson faces a minimum of 10 years and up to life in prison. A Highway Patrol trooper is out of job.  THP said yesterday Trooper Sammy Allen has been fired after an "incident" at the Robertson County Jail involving an arrestee.  Trooper Allen was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and one count of assault last week.  Allen is accused of choking the arrestee and punching him in the groin while he was handcuffed and restrained last November. Fast-rising floodwaters in Robertson County late Sunday made for a busy evening for first responders. Around 10:30 pm a passenger vehicle with two onboard became hopelessly trapped on New Chapel Rd after rushing floodwaters engulfed their vehicle.
