The Clarksville Police Department has released the identity of the body that was found off Kennedy Rd earlier this week. The remains are those of 20-year-old Justin Sawyer who disappeared December 17th.  No cause of death has been released but police say it’s an active investigation.

There’s a Young Farmers and Ranchers Scholarship Chili Supper Drive-Thru Pickup and Raffle Fundraiser today.  It will provide college scholarships for local students attending a four-year university for an Ag degree. Chili, Hotdogs, Cheese, Sour Cream, Cookies $15 a plate from 4:30-7:00 pm at the Farm Bureau on Central Avenue East n Springfield.

The National Weather Service is holding a statewide tornado drill today.  It’s part of Tennessee Severe Weather Awareness Week and comes just days after the first anniversary of last year’s deadly tornadoes in Middle Tennessee.  Since 1995, there have been an average of 30 tornadoes a year in Tennessee .

Sumner Regional Medical Center is getting some national recognition.  Newsweek and a partner have named the facility one of the best maternity care hospitals in the country.  Sumner Regional Medical Center is on a list of 225 medical centers that have provided exceptional care to mothers, newborns and their families.  The facility says it’s proud of its women’s services care team and the earned designation from The Leapfrog Group as a Best Maternity Hospital.

Minor League Baseball fans in Robertson County are going to have wait a bt longer for the peanuts and Crackerjack. The season for the Nashville Sounds is being delayed.  Major League Baseball Professional Development Leagues says the 2021 Triple-A championship season is being delayed until Tuesday, May 4th.  The Sounds will play their season opener in Toledo against the Mud Hens with Nashville’s home opener scheduled to be played on Tuesday, May 11th against the Memphis Redbirds.  Health and safety reasons were cited for the delay.

The Robertson County Health Department will be moving its current vaccination operations at the Robertson County Fairgrounds to Volstate at Highland Crest on Laureate Ave. Operation hours for the vaccination site are Monday-Friday 12:30pm-3:30pm and Saturdays 9:00am-11:30am.
