Around 10:30 pm a passenger vehicle with two onboard became hopelessly trapped on New Chapel Rd after rushing floodwaters engulfed their vehicle. The Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department Swift Water Rescue Team deployed ropes, harnesses, and cables to rescue the car occupants one at a time. No one was injured.  If you have to be out on our roadways, use caution and never try to pass a flooded road. Turn around, don’t drown.

Vaccinations are administered by appointment to ensure there is an ample amount of vaccine, reduce long line, and have adequate parking so you can be monitored for fifteen minutes after you have the shot.
