Springfield Dollar General was Robbed At Gunpoint Wednesday. Police say just before 10pm the suspect entered Dollar General located at 1017 Glade Road and pointed a gun at the clerk, demand money, then fled the area on foot. Security photos have been posted on social media. Call Springfield police if you recognize the suspect.

Long time Robertson County Firefighter Denny Lowe is dead. He was suddenly taken ill on Wednesday and died the next day at Centennial Medical Center. Donations may be made in his memory to either the Adams Church of Christ or the Adams Fire Department. All donations may be sent care of the Robertson County Funeral Home. Denny Lowe was 69.

 The Tennessee Department of Health reported three-thousand-and-967 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total since the outbreak began to over 388-thousand.  Over 90 additional COVID-related deaths were reported.  There have been nearly 48-hundred deaths attributed to COVID-19 statewide since the outbreak began.

A man involved in the Holly Bobo murder case is back in jail.  Jason Autry was arrested yesterday morning in Benton County on charges of possession of a weapon, possession of drugs and evading arrest.  Autry was released from jail in September after pleading guilty to charges of solicitation to commit murder and facilitation to especially aggravated kidnapping in the Bobo case.  As a convicted felon, Autry is prohibited from owning a weapon and could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted of state and federal charges.

Dolly Parton’s A Holly Dolly Christmas premieres Sunday on Channel 5.  The country icon will perform songs from her new holiday album with the same name, as well as faith-filled hymns.  Dolly will also share Christmas stories from years past.  The special scheduled 7:30 after football and 60 minutes.
