The Tennessee Health Facilities Commission approved the construction of a freestanding emergency room in White House. According to officials, the goal of the new facility is to provide more convenient and high-quality medical care to the area. TriStar Hendersonville will build the facility at the intersection of Raymond Hirsch Parkway and Highway 31 W. The space helps meet a need in Robertson County and Sumner County; as of publication, White House residents must travel between 25 and 35 minutes to reach the nearest emergency medical facility.
