Toll lanes are on the way to part of Interstate 24, but before construction crews get to work, the Tennessee Department of Transportation wants to hear from you. Although Tennessee’s toll lanes will likely take until around 2032 to complete, if you live or work between Nashville and Murfreesboro, a spokesperson for TDOT said that the time to weigh in is now. They would host a total of four meetings over August, but you can also weigh in online until September 19th.

Wilson County is asking for public input as they focus on future growth and how land is developed. This comes while neighbors are advocating against a 1400-acre industrial park that would be built on farmland. So far, some 1,100 people have taken part in the survey. It’s a questionnaire with about two dozen questions asking for input on future growth from residents.
