Sumner County officials are now working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Secret Service to find Sebastian Rogers. The 15-year-old with autism disappeared on Feb. 26 after his parents told deputies he walked out of the house in the middle of the night. Rogers has not been seen since. On Tuesday, deputies said they found a pair of glasses in the past couple of days and are working to figure out if they are connected to Rogers. No other physical or video evidence has been confirmed so far in the investigation.
Crews pulled a man out of a vehicle after it crashed into a Marshall County creek on Tuesday. Police say a car ran off of Interstate 65 South near Mile Marker 23 and crashed into Richland Creek north of the Cornersville exit. No other information has been released.
Coffee County Mayor Judd Matheny has been found dead inside his home. Matheny has been mayor of Coffee County since September 2022. Before that, he was a state representative for the districts of Coffee and Grundy County. No cause of death has been released, The investigation has since been handed over to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Lipscomb University is launching a new graduate program to keep up with growing workforce demand when it comes to artificial intelligence. The university recently announced plans to launch a Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence. It’s the first of its kind in Nashville and the curriculum covers a variety of topics. The discipline will be part of Lipscomb’s School of Computing.
A group of House Republicans want to rename Washington Dulles International Airport after former President Trump. Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-Pa.), is the sponsor of a bill introduced Friday to name the Virginia airport the “Donald J. Trump International Airport.” As for the reason. Reschenthaler says quote “In my lifetime, our nation has never been greater than under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump,”
