When is It this year? The 2024 Wilson County-Tennessee State Fair will return Aug. 15-24 in Lebanon. The annual fair will again take place at the Wilson County Fairgrounds. The Millersville fire chief was fired on Tuesday, making him the latest department head fired by the city in recent weeks. Channel 4 reports Brandon Head was fired on Tuesday by Interim City Manager Tina Tobin and City Manager Scott Avery was fired in January. Police Chief Robert Richman was fired after being on the job for a month. According to the city’s website, the city’s fire department consists of a full-time fire chief, a full-time firefighter, and 20 paid-per-call fire volunteers.
Authorities are working to identify at least four people involved in vehicle burglaries in Clarksville last week. The thefts occurred on Wednesday, Feb. 7 in the Huntco Drive area. Clarksville police reported items were taken from multiple vehicles. Surveillance cameras captured the suspects in the parking lot in an Infiniti QX50 or 60 model. The Clarksville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying these suspects and the vehicle used.
