At least 15 people are dead from weather-related incidents in Tennessee. Officials say the Tennessee Department of Health has announced the deaths which came as dangerous weather conditions swept through the Volunteer State on Friday and Saturday. Officials say there has been significant damage to buildings, roads and utilities in numerous counties. Another round of stormy weather is expected in the mid-South tomorrow.

Robertson County kids who want to be astronauts have some new role models coming soon. NASA says the four astronauts who will make up the first moon mission in more than 50 years will be announced later today. The crew for the Artemis Two will reportedly include three Americans and one Canadian. The ten-day mission, which is not expected to take place before November 2024, will have the spaceship circle around the moon before returning to earth. Artemis Two will be the first spaceship to go to the moon since Apollo 17 in 1972.

Robertson County Schools are holding a Job Fair from 1:00 — to 6:00 today at the Robertson County Board of Education Central Office . They’ll be accepting Applications for certified teachers in all grades and subjects. Administrators from every school will be on site to conduct interviews and discuss job opportunities.

The Robertson County Commission and Springfield Board of Mayor and Alderman approved similar resolutions for a proposed construction project towards new hangars at the airport. The proposal secures funding as part of a public-private partnership for the construction of two new hangar buildings that are expected to hold an additional 30 planes.

An investigation is underway following a wreck at a Clarksville intersection that led to lengthy delays last night. The Clarksville Police Department said the “severe crash” took place at Warfield Boulevard and Rossview Road. According to authorities, the intersection was “almost completely closed” for about three hours.
