Country singer HARDY is recovering from injuries after a bus crash near Nashville yesterday morning. He posted on social media to say the four people onboard during the 2:30 a.m. incident were treated for significant injuries. He asked for prayers for the driver who is still in the hospital. It happened around the border of Wilson and Davidson counties on Interstate 40. The singer says he is recovering from the incident and suggested his upcoming shows may be rescheduled.
The Springfield Board of Mayor and Alderman passed a resolution authorizing the acceptance of nearly $2.5 million in American Rescue Plan money to build a new wastewater treatment plant. In addition, the city ratified an emergency $36, 000 purchase for electrical system repairs at the current water treatment plant.
