Clarksville police say a man is facing DUI charges after crashing into the Red River. The accident was reported around 12:30 a.m. Sunday when the vehicle the man was driving travelled off a bridge on Tiny Town Road and into the water. Authorities say he was treated for minor injuries before being taken into custody. The vehicle was removed from the river yesterday.

The Robertson County government is accepting bids and proposals until July 22 for the sale of two properties owned by the county. Both properties, located in Springfield, are situated within high-traffic areas suitable for various types of business ventures or land investment. Those making a bid can also set up a site visit by contacting County Engineer Traye Fann, and assistance with bid procedures can be found through Taylor Tomblin with the Robertson County Finance Office.
