Clarksville fire officials say chicken nuggets and french fries left in an oven are the cause of flames that erupted Sunday evening.  Crews responded to the home on Brandywine Drive around 7:00 p.m.  Clarksville Fire Rescue says a resident of the property told firefighters the food was the source of the blaze.  Unattended cooking is the most common cause of house fires in the United States according to Clarksville fire investigators.

Holiday Getaway alert: Family-style meals will be offered at four state parks in Tennessee on Easter Sunday.  The event is being held at Montgomery Bell State Park, Cumberland Mountain State Park, David Crockett State Park, and Pickwick Landing State Park on Sunday, April 17th.  The event will also include pictures with the Easter Bunny.  Ticket costs and times vary.

Robertson County Schools is hosting an educational career fair this Friday from Noon to 4:00. Principals and supervisors will be available for questions and interviews.  While it is encouraged to attend the career fair to have a broader sense of areas you may be suited to serve in, there is still possible to apply online as well.

Pre-k students can now apply for the 2022-2023 school year.  Register your child online at rcstn.net and click on the button in the blue ribbon.  If you want to register in person you can do so at Bransford Elementary Thursday, April 14th, or Wednesday, April 20th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm on both days.

 The boys of summer are back.  The Nashville Sounds will open their 2022 season tonight with the first of six consecutive home games against the Durham Bulls.  The first pitch at First Horizon Park is set for 6:35.  A two-hour block party leading up to the game will be held on Junior Gilliam Way starting at 4 o’clock.
