A Traffic Alert for Robertson County Road Warriors:  Work crews will be at I-65 tonight installing an extruded panel sign on an existing overhead structure. From 8 p.m. to 5 a.m, there will be a double-right lane closure, moving all active traffic to the inside lane. There will also be a partial ramp closure for the ramp to The TN Welcome Center on exit 121. Stay safe out there and hang up, buckle up, and slow down. 

We’ll all get an extra hour of sleep this weekend. Daylight saving time will end Nov. 7 this year after starting on March 14. The time change will happen at 2:00 Sunday morning, so you can set your clocks back an hour then, or you can do it before you go to bed Saturday night and take advantage of that extra hour of sleep.

There are over 12-hundred new coronavirus cases in Tennessee.  The Tennessee Department of Health reported the new cases yesterday, bringing the total since the outbreak began to over one-million-285-thousand.  Over 30 additional COVID-19-related deaths were also reported, with the total number standing at nearly 17-thousand.  There are over 840 COVID-19 hospitalizations in Tennessee.

A native of Middle Tennessee says his life’s work has come down to one moment.  IFB super-middleweight champion Caleb Plant of Ashland City will fight boxing superstar Canelo Alvarez tomorrow night in Las Vegas.  Alvarez holds the WBA, WBC and WBO super middleweight titles.  Plant is considered a massive underdog.

Package delivery company UPS says they are looking to fill more than 15-hundred seasonal jobs.  The company is holding its annual UPS Brown Friday hiring event through Saturday.  UPS officials say many seasonal positions lead to permanent jobs with the company.  More information on the hiring event can be found online at Jobs-UPS-dot-com.
