Springfield Police say “no foul play suspected” after a body was found in the Walmart parking lot Friday morning.  The body was discovered in a parked tractor-trailer by the deadman’s employer around 10:50 in the morning. The body has been taken to the medical examiner’s office in Nashville.

Vandalism of a Middle Tennessee church run by a controversial pastor is being investigated.  Pastor Greg Locke [[ Lock ]] says Global Vision Bible Church in Mt. Juliet was vandalized on Saturday night.  “Your Lies Cost Lives” was spray-painted on church property.  Pastor Locke has been critical of COVID-19 safety precautions, including claiming Governor Bill Lee has authorized quarantine camps and saying worshipers who wear masks to service could be kicked out. 

If you traveled from Springfiels to the combined Wilson County Fair- Tennessee State Fair  this weeken you were not alone.  One of the biggest days in the fairs history occurred on Saturday with a attendance of 103,364.  Monday night Concert- Frontmen – Richie McDonald, Larry Stewart and Tim Rushlow. Charlie Daniels which will be remembered at 7:30 at the concert.

Robertson County nusic fans headed to Nashville should know, The Bluebird Cafe is announcing new COVID-19 precautions.  Starting Friday, anyone planning to enter the legendary music venue will need proof of being vaccinated or a negative test within the previous 48 hours.  The vaccination record must show that the final shot was taken at least 14 days prior and the records shown have to match government issued IDs.  The Bluebird Cafe says it’s making the health and safety of its staff, songwriters and customers its highest priority.
