There’s no need to panic buy. Triple-A Tennessee says the cyber-attack on the Colonial Pipeline could cause some brief shortages at gas stations.  But they say that is not a reason to hoard gasoline.  Officials say drivers should buy the gas they need and keep last year’s toilet paper shortage in mind when hoarding led to a bigger shortage.

Robertson County Schools have announced masks are now optional for all staff and students for the remainder of the school year and summer. The County has not been under a mask mandate since February when COVID numbers were falling but the school district continued to require them

Clarksville police are asking for help finding a runaway teen.  Police say 16-year-old Caribbia Brunson could be in the Nashville or Springfield areas.  Brunson also goes by CeCe and is described as black, five-three, 135 pounds with red hair and gray colored contact lenses.  She left her home on March 20th.

Robertson County Bikers will be headed to the Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival Festival et for Humphreys County later this month.  The four-day event will be held at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch and Campground May 20th through the 23rd.  Thousands of people are expected to camp at the 35-hundred-acre venue in Hurricane Mills.  The festival will include music, dirt-track racing, Harley-Davidson demos, and hand-crafted custom motorcycles.

The 2021 Kilgore Station Bluegrass Festival is scheduled for Aug. 27-28 in Cross Plains.  Featured acts include the Tennessee Mafia Jug Band, King’s Highway, Ridgetop Ramblers, Luke Munday Band, and more. Bands will begin performing Saturday morning.  The festival is a not-for-profit arts and economic development project of the Cross Plains Community Chamber.

The Robertson County Fair will be held from Tuesday, Sept. 7 to Saturday, Sept. 11 at the fairgrounds on US-41 in Springfield. Gates will open every evening at 5:00 and close at 10 p.m. However, the rides will be open as long as there are people there to ride them.

The Department of Revenue is making it easier to apply for a personalized license plate.  Residents can download an app Android or Apple at My TN-dot-gov.
