A medical marijuana bill is moving through committee in the State Senate.  The Judiciary Committee voted 5-to-3 yesterday to allow Tennesseans with diseases like cancer to have a 30-day supply of medical marijuana.  A doctor’s note would be needed to buy the medical cannabis from a licensed medical dispensary which at this point would be out of state because marijuana farming or sales are not legal in Tennessee.
